The Delaware Area Career Center (DACC) is proud to celebrate the creativity and talent of our Digital Design students, who recently collaborated with the Delaware County Sheriff's Office for a special design contest. The challenge? To create a new graphic for the Sheriff's Office’s beloved therapy dog, Otto.
After reviewing a collection of impressive and imaginative entries, the Sheriff's Office staff selected Lukas Rider as the contest winner. To honor his achievement, representatives from the Sheriff's Office—along with Otto himself—visited DACC to present Lukas with a poster of his winning design and to personally thank all participating students for their outstanding contributions.
In addition to Lukas, several other students were recognized for their exceptional work. Congratulations to runners-up Ryan Valente, Piper Baxley, Malea Givens, and Tyler Jacobs for their creative efforts in this exciting partnership.
We are thrilled to see Lukas’s design representing Otto throughout the community and are incredibly proud of all the students who took part in this meaningful project. This collaboration is a wonderful example of how DACC students apply their skills in real-world projects that make a difference. Great job to all involved!
