Our DACC Welding students recently participated in a creative competition, showcasing the skills they’ve been developing in their program. While these techniques are often used in structural and industrial applications, this project highlighted how welding can also serve as a medium for artistic expression.
Staff members had the opportunity to view the students’ designs and vote for their favorite. The winning piece was a sunflower design created by Casey Clay. Congratulations to Casey for her impressive work and great job to all the students who participated.
We’re proud of the effort and creativity our Welding students demonstrated during this project and look forward to seeing how they continue to grow in their skills.
