Beginning in August 2022, the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Services Department will be transitioning to normal child nutrition operations. Outlined below is what this means for you and your family.

  1. Breakfast and lunch will still be available to all students; however, they will not be free to all students. This means that families will need to complete the Free and Reduced-price Family Application to qualify for free or reduced-price meals. The students who do not qualify for free or reduced-price meals must pay full price for breakfast and lunch. Those prices will be posted at a later date. If there is an update about lunches, we will provide that information as soon as we know.
  2. Please strive to keep your child’s account balance positive.
  3. All students will enter their Student Number into the PIN Pad for the cashier to ring them out. This means all students must know their 6-digit Student Number before the first day of school in August. Their Student Number can be found in Power School near your child’s name. If your student does not know their number, or needs to practice, please work with them over the summer so they are ready for the first day of school.

To check your student’s account balance, complete a Free and Reduced-price Family Application, or add money to your student’s account, please go to www.payschoolscentral.com.
