What is the ASVAB?
The ASVAB is the most widely used multiple-aptitude test battery in the world. The ASVAB measures your strengths, weaknesses, and potential for future success in four domains: verbal, math, science and technical, and spatial.

Why would I take it?
Students at DACC take the test for 2 reasons:

  1. The majority take the test to know what careers their talents and strengths fit with the most.
  2. The second reason is, any person considering the military must take the ASVAB and get a qualifying score as a requirement to enlist.

Will a military recruiter reach out to me?
No, DACC does NOT release names of testers or scores. Students will need to release their scores on their own if interested.

If you have any questions please reach out to Mr. Wood. If you are interested in meeting with a recruiter, I can connect you with the correct one. Please sign up for the ASVAB at the following link.  ASVAB Sign Up Link
