DACC Staff Spotlight: Timothy Stainer, Fire Service Training Instructor
Timothy Stainer started working for DACC in January 2018 in the Adult Education Fire & EMS programs. He started as the Fire Service Training Instructor in August 2019. Before DACC, Tim was a full-time firefighter for 27 years and retired as Captain.
“I wouldn’t trade being a firefighter most of my life for anything,” says Tim. “I really loved the job. Now, I hope to inspire and train the next generation to continue serving the public.” He enjoys connecting with past students that are out doing the things they learned in the program. “It is rewarding to hear about their first fire, emergency run, or getting a job at a new department.”
Tim and his wife, Anissa, have a dog named Charmin. They enjoy time at their lake house together with friends.
