DACC Staff Spotlight: Adam Paisie, Engineering Technology Instructor
Adam Paisie has been employed by DACC for 5 years. During that time, he worked to help open Olentangy Academy’s Engineering program. He also opened the Engineering Technology program at DACC and has been teaching 10th and 11th grade at DACC for the past 5 years. Next year, Adam will be the instructor for the new Engineering – Robotics, Automation & Design program at DACC.
Before teaching, Adam worked in industry in a variety of technician and operator roles. His industrial background was mainly centered in the print and mail distribution sectors as well as HVAC.
Adam’s students have a lot of fun in lab. Some of his favorite teaching moments include watching his students at their Completion Ceremony. “I love to see my class as a group for one last time, to reflect on our journey, to take pride in their achievements, and to see them move on to their next goal in life.”
When Adam is not teaching, he enjoys traveling, fishing, cooking, gardening, attending live music, and spending time with his family and friends.
Adam is married with 3 children. He has 2 sons, ages 14 and 9, and a daughter, 7.
