Open House Line Up

DACC will be hosting a series of four Open House events scheduled for December and January. These events are designed to provide prospective students and their families with comprehensive insights into the diverse range of programs and opportunities available at DACC.

Each Open House event is uniquely structured to cater to students based on their year in school and specific areas of interest to ensure that attendees receive the most relevant and targeted information to help them make informed decisions about their educational and career paths.

EVENT DETAILS:

  • Who Should Attend: Students and families interested in learning about DACC’s programs and offerings.

  • What to Expect: Information sessions tailored to different student interests and grade levels, opportunities to ask questions, and chances to meet and interact with DACC staff and educators.

  • Registration: We ask attendees to register in advance to ensure a personalized and informative experience. Registration can be completed at the DACC Register for your preferred Open House here.

EVENT TYPES:

December 5th Open House, 4:30 - 7:30 p.m.
This is our largest event that covers the most amount of programs to visit. The event is held at DACC's Main Campus. Students interested in Wildlife and Resource Management will travel across the street to Camp Lazarus:

December 11th Senior-Only Programs Open House, 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
This event is for current juniors interested in one of our one-year, senior-only programs that take place after the typical school day.

January 9th Zoo School Open House, 6:00 - 7:45 p.m.
This event takes place at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium specifically for current Sophomores interested in applying for the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium School program. Note that the Zoo Instructor will be at our main Open House on December 5th. However, this is your chance to see the classroom and get an authentic view of the program.

December 7th Equine Science Open House, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
This event takes place at the Delaware County Fairgrounds specifically for current Sophomores interested in the Equine Science program. Note that the Equine Instructor will be at our main Open House on December 5th. However, this is your chance to see the classroom and get an authentic view of the program.
