Nick Ambrozich, a 2013 graduate of the DACC Law Enforcement program, has been inducted into the 2024 DACC Hall of Fame in recognition of his dedication to public service and his outstanding contributions to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office.
As a student, Nick showcased leadership skills early, taking charge of class inspections, drills, and flag duties. He also served as a DACC Ambassador, representing the school at events and helping connect prospective students with the opportunities offered at DACC.
After graduating, Nick continued his education at Columbus State Community College and The Ohio State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. He then returned to DACC’s Adult Education program to complete the Peace Officer Training Program, a critical step before joining the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office in 2017.
Nick has become a leader in the law enforcement community, serving as a Training Officer and Instructor. His efforts to train new recruits have shaped the next generation of law enforcement professionals. His exemplary work has earned him several prestigious awards, including the 2023 Deputy of the Year and the Lifesaving Award. Nick also continues to mentor DACC students and participate in the DACC Advisory Committee, further cementing his dedication to his alma mater.
Nick’s commitment to public service, mentoring, and professional excellence has made a lasting impact on his community and DACC, making him a deserving inductee into the 2024 Hall of Fame.
