Women In Construction Week

This week marks the celebration of Women in Construction Week, a time to acknowledge and honor the significant contributions of women in the construction industry. At DACC, we're not just joining in the celebration; we're also acknowledging our very own Board Member, Susan Kish, whose dedication and achievements in the construction field inspire us all.

Susan Kish, currently serving as the Education and Training Advocate for the Superior Group, brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role. Ms. Kish has a Bachelor’s Degree from Ohio Dominican University, a Master’s Degree from Marygrove College, and a certification as a Certified Professional Training Manager (CPTM). Her journey through the construction trades began as an apprentice electrician and her career path is marked by a commitment to advocacy for women in her field. Now, as a Board of Education member representing the ESC of Central Ohio at DACC, she continues to support and inspire women in the construction industry.

Ms. Kish works to not only pave the way for future generations of women leaders in construction, but also fosters a more inclusive and supportive industry culture. Her advocacy for allowing women to share their stories and experiences with our students underscores the power of representation and the importance of lifting each other up. As we celebrate Women in Construction Week, let's honor Susan Kish’s invaluable contributions and commitment to making the construction industry a welcoming place for women to thrive and lead.
