Ten DACC/Dempsey Career Based Intervention students recently gave their time and talents volunteering at the Woodward Fall Fest.
Representing both Dempsey Middle School and DACC, these students went above and beyond in their community involvement. Arriving on time and taking charge of their assigned stations, they engaged with families and young children throughout the night. Whether it was playing games, laughing, or giving high-fives, they made sure to connect with community members and young children who attended the event.
After the event, these dedicated students stayed late to assist with clean-up efforts. They picked up trash, moved pumpkins, and even helped load a truck full of hay.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the following students for their outstanding community service: Rylan, Jabraya, Sam, Natalie, Paisley, Kyle, Lainey, Emily, Liam, and Lily.
They are serving as a great example of how DACC and Dempsey students are in training not just to work, but to make a meaningful difference in their communities. Great job, everyone!
