LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT. Sealed bids will be received at the Delaware Area Career Center Board of Education located at 4565 Columbus Pike, Delaware, OH 43015 until 3:00 p.m. EST on May 22, 2024, for a pre-engineered metal building, associated sitework and parking lot expansion (the “Project”). Said bids will be publicly opened and read immediately after submission. The Bid Documents are available for purchase from: Key Blue Prints Inc., 195 E. Livingston Ave, Columbus, Ohio 45215, (614) 228-3285 www.keycompanies.com.  Documents will be forwarded at bidder's expense.  Any and all addenda will be issued through Key Blue Prints Inc. Bids shall be submitted on the form furnished with each set of bid documents or on a photographic copy of that form.  Each bid must be accompanied by a BID GUARANTEE meeting requirements of Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code (ORC).  Said guarantee may be in the form of a bond (ORC 153.571) or a certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit meeting the requirements of ORC Chapter 1305, in the amount of TEN PERCENT (10%) of the bid (ORC 153.54).  The successful Bidder must replace the ten percent (10%) bid bond with a one-hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bond upon award of the bid. Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope identified as "Delaware Area Career Center PEMB Project" and MUST HAVE THE FULL NAME AND ADDRESS of the Bidder on the envelope. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive informalities, and to accept or reject any and all, or parts of any and all bids. No bids may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The probable construction cost estimate for this work is ($1,484,300 base bid).
