The need for Collision Repair Technicians that have the skill set to make damaged vehicles look new again.
In our Automotive Collision Technology program at DACC, students gain real-life work experience repairing collision-damaged vehicles. Students who like to work with their hands, enjoy working on cars, are eager to learn advanced technology as well as traditional techniques, and have the ability to solve problems will excel in this program. of full-time work.

Auto detailing
Removing and replacing parts electrical systems
Cooling systems
Estimating
Repairing plastics, fiberglass, and rubber bumpers
Refinishing metals and plastics used to manufacture automobiles and trucks.

Fiberglass and plastic repair
MIG, TIG, and Oxyacetylene welding
Frame and unibody damage repair
Custom paint and airbrushing
Use of body repair tools and equipment
Business and management operations
Water-based paint
Powder coating
Dentless repair
Estimating
Glass replacement
Aluminum repair
Credits Available:
3 elective credits per year
College credits available through articulation agreements with Hocking College and through Career-Technical Assurance Guides (CTAGs)
CTAGs are transferrable to Ohio public colleges. Credits vary per program.
