Application Development & Programming Technology is a two-year high school career-prep program which offers immersive, personalized, and interactive learning opportunities to aspiring software developers.

Areas of Study:
Project Management: Agile Methodologies and Scrum Management Framework, Lean Six Sigma Methodologies, Cloud DevOps (cloud development and operations), CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous deployment), Git (version control)
Web Design: Front-end (user interfaces), Responsive app design, UX (user experience)
Web & Mobile App Development: Full-stack web development, React Native Framework, Database design and development, Relational and NoSQL databases, Database transactions
Game Design: Unity Game Engine, AR.VR (Augmented and virtual reality)
Programming: .NET console and desktop application development, TDD (Test-driven development)
Credits Available:
3 elective credits per year
College credits available through Articulation Agreements with Columbus State Community College, Hocking College, Marion Technical College, and through Career-Technical Assurance Guides (CTAGs)
