EMT Test Prep

Emergency Medical Technician State of Ohio Practical Exam and National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Exam Prep

This course is only available to graduates of the Delaware Area Career Center’s High School and Adult Education Emergency Medical Technician programs.

Upon successful completion of all Emergency Medical Technician course requirements, the Delaware Area Career Center will issue a Certificate of Completion to the student. Once an Emergency Medical Technician student has received a Certificate of Completion, they will take the State of Ohio EMT practical examination. After passing the State of Ohio practical exam, the student is eligible to sit for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians computer based exam. Successful passage of both the State of Ohio practical exam and the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians exam are required for certification as an Emergency Medical Technician.

This class provides 10 hours of exam preparation (8 hours EMT content specific, 2 hours general test-taking) over 3 days.

Registration is limited to DACC high school or adult Emergency Medical Technician graduates. These sessions will be free of charge to all DACC high school or adult Emergency Medical Technician graduates.
