State-Funded ACT Testing

February 23, 2021 to February 24, 2021
DACC Campus

State law requires districts to administer the state-funded ACT to all juniors in the spring of the school year. Delaware Area Career Center will be testing all full day juniors on February 23, 2021 and February 24, 2021 free of charge at DACC but on an online platform.  Half-day students will test at their home high school on various dates this spring and will attend their lab classes as usual on these days. At this time, the testing date will align to your student’s designated blue-green rotation in-person day.

Full-day students will report to their 5/6th period academic class at 7:50 AM instead of going to lab.  Testing will be for three and a half hours with built in breaks.  No matter what COVID Plan we are on at the time, students will stay at DACC all-day and be given a lunch with a special academic schedule in the afternoon.  We will continue to follow our social distancing guidelines during this testing. The state administration of the ACT will include the primary subject areas in reading, English, mathematics and science. The state testing of the ACT will not include the optional writing test.
