We are proud to announce that two members of our DACC community were recently honored at the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) Central Region Fall Conference for their contributions to public education.
Tom Marchetti, DACC’s Chief of Staff, received the Exemplary School Employee Award in recognition of his outstanding efforts in recruiting, retaining, and developing top talent. Thanks to his leadership, DACC's onboarding process has been transformed into a comprehensive system that fosters staff growth and contributes to the success of students, staff, and the broader community. Tom's dedication continues to have a lasting impact on the school’s culture and operational excellence.
Michael Lynch, a Certified Landscaping Technician with Environmental Management, Inc. (EMI), was presented with the Friend of Public Education Award for his exceptional collaboration with DACC and other Ohio Career Centers. Michael has played a key role in supporting the Landscape Architecture and Construction program through internships, advisory committee participation, and career and technical education initiatives. His commitment to enriching students' experiences has inspired many to pursue careers in landscape architecture and design.
Congratulations to Tom and Michael for their well-deserved recognition and for their continued dedication to student success and career development!
