Chancellor's Award

DACC is proud to announce that its ASPIRE program has been recognized with two Chancellor’s Awards from the Ohio Department of Higher Education. Gary Cates, Senior Vice Chancellor for the Ohio Board of Regents, visited DACC to present these distinguished honors: the Innovative Programming Award and the Exceeding Enrollment Targets Award.

The Innovative Programming Award acknowledges ASPIRE’s creative approach to expanding educational opportunities for adults in Ohio. These efforts lead to valuable credentials, foster partnerships with employers, and meet learners’ needs in innovative ways. Out of 55 programs across the state, only two were selected for this prestigious award.

The Exceeding Enrollment Target Award celebrates ASPIRE’s success in engaging Ohioans in need of educational services and surpassing established enrollment goals.

Cindy Wolfe, ASPIRE Coordinator, leads a dedicated team that works tirelessly to make these programs accessible to the community, ensuring the success of DACC’s adult learners. DACC is honored to receive these awards and remains committed to providing high-quality educational opportunities to all.
