DACC Staff Spotlight: Mike Herzog, Assistant Principal

This is Mr. Herzog’s 2nd year at DACC. Before working at DACC, he served in the Columbus City Schools District, teaching Biology at Briggs High School for 10 years and as an Assistant Principal at Whetstone High School for 6 years.

Mike’s favorite memory while at DACC: “Watching our seniors participate in the Completion Ceremony is by far my favorite memory of DACC at this point. For me, that event sums it all up!”

Mike and his wife have two children, Adelyn, 9 and Christopher, 6. For Mike, spending as much time with his family is priority number one. His kids keep his family BUSY and on the move at all time. He also enjoys getting into home renovation projects, live concerts, sporting events and hanging out with friends.
