Monitoring Symptoms and Reporting

MONITORING YOUR SYMPTOMS AND REPORTING:

One of the most efficient ways to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is to monitor your symptoms daily and stay at home if you are exhibiting symptoms. Symptoms to look for include:

  • Persistent New or Worsening Cough
  • Shortness of Breath/Dyspnea
  • Difficulty of Breathing
  • Loss of Taste
  • Loss of Smell
  • Fever (100 degrees or higher, or subjective)
  • Chills
  • Rigors (feeling of cold with shivering)
  • Myalgia (muscle pain)
  • Headache
  • Sore Throat
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Fatigue
  • Congestion or Runny Nose

If your child is exhibiting any of these symptoms or has tested positive, please keep your child at home and report the symptoms or positive test to the Delaware Area Career Center.

Report symptoms or a positive test result.

Report an absence to the Attendance Office.

Review district safety protocols.
