Engineering Technology Preview Day

December 11, 2019
DACC Campus | 8:00am - 10:45am

We are hosting a visit for 9th graders who are interested in the Engineering Program to come out for a visit, meet the instructor, and get some hands on experience before deciding whether you'd like to sign up for the class. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the program and talk about the future of engineering.

December 11th, 2019 | 8:00am - 10:45am

DACC Campus:
4565 Columbus Pike, Delaware OH 43015

If you would like to join us for this visit, please fill out this form and turn it in to your school counselor by December 6th. If you have any questions about this visit, we are available to answer them by phone or email.

The Engineering program at DACC is a 3-year program for sophomores, juniors, & seniors that focuses on electrical and mechanical engineering. As a RAMTEC participant, we are 1 of 21 schools in Ohio participating in a robotics and manufacturing coalition.

We work closely with businesses such as Honda and Worthington Industries to provide our students with high tech industry equipment, internship opportunities, certifications, and a relevant education.

This is a college-bound program and students will have the opportunity to earn college credits while still in high school. Visit our web site for more detailed information and a list of college credits and industry credentials that will be available to our students.

Hear from the teacher and current students in the below video. They cover what types of students will thrive in this program and what a typical day looks like.
