Before applying, be sure to review all of the below information. When you're ready, hit the 'Apply Here' link and get started. Please note that existing DACC students who are returning for the next year in their program do not need to re-apply.

Campus Visit

Please note that Zoo School applicants must also fill out a teacher recommendation form found here.

Accommodation Testing:
If the applicant would like to test with accommodations, please do not utilize the sign-up link.  Please contact Jamie Bando, Vocational Special Education Coordinator, by email at bandoj@delawareareacc.org. In the email, please provide proper documentation of testing accommodations.  You will receive an email back to setup a testing date at DACC.

You'll also need parent/guardian contact information, including name, address, phone, and email.

Complete Essay Questions
You will be asked 3 essay questions:

  • What do you expect to learn in the program you selected?
  • What experiences have you had that will contribute to your success in the program?
  • When you look into the future, what do you see for yourself?

Electronic Signature and Submit
Both the student and parent will click a consent button and be sure to click 'submit' when you're finished.

Next Steps

  • After you complete the application, your guidance counselor will be notified and will upload needed information including your transcript. 
  • The DACC Student Services Department will be reviewing applications from February - May.
  • Acceptance letters will be emailed and mailed to students and parents.
