Meet Brad DeMent, DACC's New Welding Instructor

November 22, 2011

After graduating from Hobart Institute in the Structural Welding Program, Brad DeMent went on to work for McKinney Corp., the top chassis builder for Top Fuel Dragsters and Funny Cars that race on the NHRA racing circuit. As the article explains, “After a great experience at McKinney Corp, Brad accepted a job offer closer to home in Plain City, Ohio. “I started my new career as a TIG welder/fabricator for a small, start-up company called Eden Cryogenics, LLC. They specialize in custom, high-end cryogenic equipment, systems and components for NASA.”

We are thrilled to have Brad as the new Welding and Sheet Metal Fabrication Instructor here at DACC. His experience and passion for Welding have made him a great asset to our teaching staff.
