Nurse Aide Training Program

Course Description
This 84-hour course provides instruction on utilizing a humanistic approach to provide basic care to people in a variety of health care settings. Students will understand how health care systems operate and will learn the skills necessary to function safely and efficiently in a health care setting. Students will learn the information and practical skills necessary for taking and passing the certification exam required by the state.

Title: Nursing Assistant/Aide and Patient Care Assistant/Aide.

Definition: A program that prepares individuals to perform routine nursing-related services to patients in hospitals or long-term care facilities, under the training and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.

Admission Requirements Prior to Coming to Class



*Does not include $25 registration fee and $75 Workkeys testing fee*

Atlease one half ($312.50) of your tuition is due on or before the first date of class.  

Other costs not included in tuition:

  • Scrubs
  • Two-part TB test
  • Physical exam

Class will be held Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from June 17th to 28th at our South Campus (4565 Columbus Pike).


Please be sure to register for the requisite Workkeys testing by clicking HERE.  The testing date is Tuesday, June 11th at 5:00 p.m. There is a $75.00 registration fee that is refundable, if you do not take the tests.
